This installation, titled A Fixed Cosmic Potential, is meant to represent a fixed moment in time of how I visualize the universe and its cosmic energies within its infinite potential of endless possibilities moving forward. While creating the installation with its spiraling effect in mind, it’ll never truly be in motion. My memory of motion acts as the past while the next stage is the future. With these two temporal parameters being insignificant, still nothing happens and the installation stays stagnant in its place.
“All of existence is thus somehow encapsulated, frozen, in a single instant. Time exists merely as a parameter for gauging the interval between events. Past and future have no real significance. Nothing actually happens.”
The Cosmic Blueprint, Paul Davies, pg. 14
